It's there for me :) Seems like a pretty decent PC, just needs upgrading to 7, a decent, proper graphics card and it'll be fine.

Very very tempted to buy this, swap my Q6600 with the processor in it and then run VMWare ESXi virtual servers on there

Stephen!

Why swap the quads?

Also you'd have to check the ESXi compatibility list as historically ESXi does not play nice with none-server grade hardware.

Can always look into alternatives like Xen or Hyper-V

Could you put a PCI-e Graphics card in it?

If so, That wouldnt be too bad!?

Oh and the TECH SPECS say - Processor cache 8MB

So, say i was to buy that, Stick a GTX 260? in it? How would it fare against TF2, CS:S, CoD 4?

Mhmm, i'll look into it now..

Intel processor lookup shows 4mb Cache..

What disadvantages would this have? Only having 4mb (Per core?)

Stephen!

You probably wouldn't notice it THAT much.

Would it effect gaming a lot? Like i said - CoD 4, TF2 and CS

Stephen!

Probably less than a 0.5% difference.

Mhmm, Might look into it then.. Put a (hopefully it'll fit) GTX 260 in there?

= £350 MAX?

I'd go with ATI's new 5770.

I'd go with ATI's new 5770.

Bit expensive that isnt it? And the problem is SIZE, that case looks small..

The 5770 aint that beastly. Its smaller in length than my old 8800GT anyway.

Yeah, I have the 5770 and it's a nice size and uses a low amount of power. Would be a decent system for the money with a graphics card. The 260 GTX is probably a fair bit bigger than the 5770.

I have a GTX 260 and it is a very tight squeeze, and I have a fairly large case.

GTX 260 Graphics Card:

When I put it in, it doesn't fit without you tipping it up 45 degrees to tilt it in, it fits in after you get it in the case though lol.

Sold out now..

I went for the LAST ONE today - The display one.. I was told on the phone that you CANT reserve that one, and its first come first served..

So, i got there to get told that its been RESERVED FOR A NIGERIAN COMPANY..

So, we were telling the guy what we were told on the phone, and he said YOU SHOULD HAVE PHONED US.. when the guy on the phone at customer services said we cant phone because they dont pick up..

*facepalm*

Damn, that's a pretty sweet deal. I got a dual core 2.6 ghz inspiron 545 with 1 gig less memory and a smaller hard drive, but with windows 7 premum for £290 a few months back.
