I always thought it would be good due to everyone cooking it so nice

Depends on the quality, smoked salmon is lush.

Tbh i have more of an exotic taste in fish, I love stuff like swordfish and shark its yum :P

A good swordfish steak is amazing. Really juicy and tasty :D. Salmon is also lovely, providing you get decent quality fish from a decent source.
