You wont understand the background, but heres the situation.
People Im friends with, boy and girl are a really nice couple, been going out for a year and abit now, solid relationship. I had a thing for this girl way before they started and still do and she knows and does the same... I reckon :S So 2 months ago we were at a mates and we got a little bit touchy, but nothing went far. Then tonight we all went out, 5 of us, sat down on a bench, having a ciggy and what not and she sits on my lap, I ask her to move as he is like, infront of her, on me lol and so shes like k, sits besides and rubs my leg when he's not looking. She was the tiniest bit drunk too, and I do mean tiny, no, falling over of vom, just a little... ooerrish lol. Ergh. Ideas?

Now it could be that she's... looking for something while he cheers himself up

She was trying to get him not to like me.

They're the only things I can think of. If you knew the people you wouldn't be saying the second one, but I can't be sure now. However they're the only 3 options I can think of, your thoughts? +rep to helpful answears

She was either doing it to get the other guy jealous or she was just abit too boozy. If she acts the same way when the guy isn't around then she might just be tired of him, which i doubt if their actually in a solid relationship. I'd say talk to the boy about it but he may misinterpret the situation and you'd be in **** so i'd just leave it for time.

If she wasn't too drunk, and only had a bit too drink, i very much doubt she was too drunk to not know what she was doing..
It seems as though she's bored of him, and wants someone to fill her time.. she might like you, but i very much doubt after a year long relationship that she wants anything serious, and probably just wants to have a bit of fun because she's been with the same boy for a year. Therefore imo you shouldn't read into it, and should back away and put your friendship before her. :)
