Is it really what it's cracked up to be?

I wonder if City will play the team they played out today. I think we are playing out our youngster's so it's a possibility.

Ahh Darren Gibson.. a great prospect. :)

hahahaha
our club today beat mboro, our club being the one which fielded boyata & weiss along with benjani upfront and sylvinho at the back.

A disgraceful excuse. You just played a decent team just to be on a safe side. LOL. Your youngster's are so **** you can't even trust them to play a team like Boro.

Well done for looking for looking for short success City, spending 200 million on only 3 good players, Given, Bellamy and De Jong. No investment on your youth. :P[/QUOTE]

I'll look forward to your 'kids' on Wednesday... ya know? West Brown, Neville, Welbeck, Nani, Anderson, Foster etc

Wonderful kids them, average age is 27.

You preparing to catch it on BBC1? If you pop to a pub you might be able to sit with other 'fans' and try and replicate the fans in the ground.
-----------------------------------------
Why do you always talk out out of your bottom?

Your team just about clinched a win over a team who's struggling pretty badly.

I'll youngsters will show your "over rated" crap bunch of toads how ***** they lot are. :)

lol pardon? How is it targeting? I was simply using quotes to portray the feelings people have towards Uniteds youth.

As for other comments, I wont lower myself to render a reply.

Back on topic. Is Uniteds youth really that good.

they just go and take kids from far away when they should be taking people from the local area (or even the same country). same could be said for a lot of other prem clubs.

i was going to say that they can't be that good if they can't be league 1 opposition at home. but then again, rooney, berba, giggs, owen, valencia all finished the game, so it would have been kind of me.

Our youth is much better than yours. City are nothing but a "small" club who will NEVER achieve what United has done.

That's a ridiculous comment to make. For 1) We scout for potential prospects in the local area and how do you know that we haven't singed up 7 players from our youth set up from the local area?

Also, like any other team, we can't just sign any old player. They have to be good. So what your saying is very silly.

Well Real Madrid lost 6-1 to a village team - when they fielded a decent team. Not always can you win games. Not matter how good of a team of a team you have got.

Sunderland have the best youth striker in the country. 30+ goals this season, across Reserve and Youth teams. And he's only 17. I give you, RYAN NOBLE.

Yeah. He's a scrawny sonuvva though. He needs to get stronger if he wants to compete in the PL. But, I guess he's only my age. Which means my time to go pro has surely passed me by. :(

Just heard United lost vs Leeds (Currently in the US), lol@United, and lol@you Clowgon.

Btw Villa are the biggest club in the Midlands, they have the best youth system, any good young players around here always go to Aston Villa. Saying that that Wolves aint got a bad youth system... got a few young players coming through.

I love how Manchester United 'fans' think every club is small. I also enjoyed how your scottish **** of a manager was to embarrassed to speak against Leeds. Also your ******** of a manager was got in a temper when he found out there were 5 MINUTES stoppage time.

Your club might be big, but at least everyother team in England is not £600 million in debt, managed by a scottish red faced ****, and has more ****** up 'fans' who watch there team on TV every week. Yeh one ******* good club Man United are this season.

Oh wait, half way through the season, you are out the FA cup and not top of the premier league, mind you I guess the best club in the world needs time

--

I love the sports section, just because of the few people in it, that clearly know nothing about football apart from the Premier league.

I stopped paying attention to Carling Cup ages ago (due to Orient being knocked out very quickly :P)

Champions League, if they weren't in last 16 it would be embarrassing.

Isn't it Man U who wanted to get every trophy this year lol.
