http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?p=6217290#post6217290 << That thread is in the HxL feedback subforum. It quite clearly isn't feedback though. This forum should be moved from the feedback forum if its going to be used like that cos having [Win HC Sofas] come up on the hxf homepage as the first post in "habbox feedback" is a bit sad imo.

Aren't those sort of announcements meant to be posted on the community notice board?

I think she posted it there so it could receive replies, i don't know where else it would have gone other than competitions seeing as she works for Habbox Live.

Oh yes I didn't read her post correctly part of the competition was to reply to her thread apologies I thought she was just announceing an on-air competition :)

Hmm, this does give the idea that maybe a HabboxLive forum might be useful...

I got told this forum was for discussion as well, not only feedback. So i think it should be ok to talkabout anything related to habbox, hxl or hxf. Should not matter if its to do with comps

Aye I'm not saying its her fault its just not feedback and its in a feedback forum so maybe HxL should have a forum (like gomme said) and hxf feedback can just go in this forum.

I don't see why they don't just overhaul this category (Help / Questions / Feedback) and just call it a Community Category (obvs with a nice name). It could have a special HabboxLive forum, Feedback Forum, Ask the Habbox Staff forum (without sub-forums, they make the staff seem distant and generally useless, just make them reply to their own department questions and tell them this when they are hired) and Welcome/Goodbye. Congratulations may as well go in Feedback again, seeing as it can be considered a type of Feedback, or just turn the Welcome and Leavings forum into one that can accomodate congratulations too. the HxHD forum could go in the Habbo section, get the HxHD staff involved with that category so they don't seem distant from Habbo either :P

why would you give it its own forum when its hardly ever used? it should just be merged with normal feeback. I think feeback should be re-named to "Habbox Discussion" because everything that gets posted here is critism and it would make it much more active and you have people discussing things related to Habbox like how long people have been here, what jobs people have had etc. Other than what they want and whats wrong with the forum

edit; yeah i agree with scrapping the hxhd forum, people dont use it

I think that the HabboxLive and HxHD forums should be scrapped, they only tend to get used for questions but there are "Ask the Staff" forums for these.

The Ask the Staff section is so uninviting though :P You feel as if you've entered a dim lit, narrow hallway in the basement of an office block, walking passed dark walnut doors with department names on. You just want to get out ASAP. Scrapping the sub-forums in there would be a start, most of them don't appear to be used regularly, nor do they need to be.

I'd tend to agree with this, maybe just keep the popular ones. I know that the "Ask the Forum Staff" forum is quite popular and we solve a lot of people's queries this way. I don't know what the alternative for this could be.

What about just one forum and prefixes, such as HabboxLive, Habbox, HabboxForum then the popular ones, and then like Feature as well for feature ideas/requests for any of the Habbox sites.

They won't be bad if you didn't have subforums as every member of staff would have to go through most posts to see if its their departments.

It would work but I'm not a fan of prefixes, but if public opinion sways that way then I guess this option would be considered by Management.
