Improvement: Twitter Profile Field

Hey,

I know I'm new and whatnot but I think there should be a profile field for our Twitter usernames. Twitter is becoming more and more popular every day and just browsing the forum, noticing a lot of people having Twitter links in their signature etc.

It shouldn't show on the postbit but I think it should definitely be included in the profile.

I see no reason why this couldn't be added, there are fields for PSN, XBL and other so I think this is a good suggestion, +rep :)

As mentioned, a lot of other services are there, and Twitter is a hugely popular site now, so it could be used by quite a lot of people. :D

When I added it I did notice a couple I thought were silly... like "dream partner", so I will look at pruning it soon.

personally, i think that dream partner and stuff should stay as you can put pretty funny answers in them. stuff like xbox, ps3 and wii isn't needed. just have one box and the person can right their name and what console. the same goes with public space url. Twitter, facebook, bebo and myspace can all go in there along with blogs or w/e if people have them.

With that thing I used to do it but now I dont, I dont check peoples profiles for them sort of things so I've no problem with how long it gets lol.

Maybe the logos of the sites could be used instead of text? might make it look a bit more modern.

I must say, that is impressive! I also like your idea - but I am not sure how easily it is implemented. I'll try find out, though.
