Mobile phone contracts + discount line rental.

First off, getting my first mobile contract (I'm 19 but been on SIMplicity for ages).

Looking at a Blackberry 8520 or 8900 atm I think, on some of the 'comparison' sites.

When they claim to offer you, for example, 12 months half price line rental, how is this claimed? And how long does it take to come to you?


If anyone could recommend me any contracts it'd be appreciated.

I'd stay away from the cashback claim contracts unless you really need one, they're so much hassle and companies do their best to make it hard for you to claim, its pretty sad really. basically every 3 months you send your bill off to them and when they get it (if it doesnt get "lost in the post") they take an ice age to process it then send you a cheque for it.

Basically a short-term contract without a phone. I got the sim, 600 mins unlimited texts for £20 a month.
