Profile Field Pruning

Recently it was brought up that there are quite a lot of profile fields, and this can be annoying, so I thought I might have a look and see what ones we can get rid of. I have decided on the following but if you would like to keep some of these or add others, post in this thread and let me know and we will review what we might do.

My Suggestions:

Habbo Name (US)
Habbo Name (AU)
Habbo Name (CA)
Habbo Name (SG)
[leaving Habbo Name (UK) and Habbo Name (__)]
Runescape Name
Favourite Food / Drink and / or Dream Partner

They are all good suggestions, there was no need for so many international hotels.

You might get a few complaints about removing the runescape user name one.

Will have a scout now.

The hotel one is a good idea - does the forum still have a big runescape following? I know it used to. If favourite food/drink go are there still 'jokey' ones, don't want them to be too serious. If there are then your proposed changes are cool.

The Runescape following on this forum is most certainly declining, hence my suggestion to remove it. All the same, I'd understand if members were against it. There are still a few, likes and dislikes etc... also I'd rather keep fav food and drink and get rid of "Dream Partner" in actual fact, so I think I may swap them.

I'm liking your suggestions, maybe "Dream Partner" shouldn't be removed because answers for that don't have to be too serious and its always nice to have a "jokey" one.

I use dream partner :( international Habbos can be in one bit though, just means they won't link to their Habbo Homes but I'm not certain if the international ones do anyway

Maybe just have one bigger field called "Bio" and have those fields as suggestions on what could be put into that field.

Otherwise, sounds good, doesn't really bother me!

I think the xbox, ps3 and wii should stay personally. When you post in the game forums, it displays whichever on you are posting in, and can help people add each other. Especially since these are popularish forums

Out of all the fields, the forum-relates ones are probably most used while the gaming username ones are probable the most useful. And why would you get rid of PSN/Wii but not XBOX Gamertag? :S

Personally I only use a few of the fields, but I don't see the point of removing any of them. Surely there are lots of people who like to fill their profile with all that information and it can't be doing any harm? (if it ain't broken..)

Thats good, while we are at it, remove the 360 one :rolleyes:

With the habbo one, why not just have a drop down field where you select your 'main' hotel and you write your habbo name in a box, then display it like this"Habbo (*hotel selected from drop down menu*) name: *username*.

For me it would be:

Habbo UK username: Blinger

I agree with this if your gonna keep gamer tag and wii code might as well keep rs name, although tbh most people dont have there rs name in the profile cuz they buy pins or mils on the forum and are afraid of getting banned, well not rly anymore but i remeber awhile ago people were afraid
