basically i always thought i'd never get one but i've seen a few i like recently. what are your thoughts on getting one done? mine would be something cute :D i hate random things that are impersonal - the worst tattoo ever must be people who get a star or a few stars or tribal ones lol. i hate those. anyway, would you ever get a tattoo? do you want one? what of?

I want a tattoo. When I was in the army I was intending to get one of my cap badge on my chest. Obviously once I was MD'd that idea went out of the window so now I would like "libera nos a malo" (deliver us from evil) tattooed somewhere in fancy writing, but I don't know where :(.

I'd only get a tattoo if it really ment something to you, and if it didnt then i wouldnt its kinda pointless and you dont rly gotta tattoo something on you to remeber someone or something but thats the only way I'd do it. I'm hoping to actually get 1 soon just been too lazy and there sorta expensive if you want something rly nice

Oooh yeahhh, i forgot to mention i got one above my elbow (back of arm) when i went with my mate. He wanted to get one and i went with him because he was scared bless him. And i ended up getting one because they had a slot and i always am one of those spur of the moment people. So there we go... Considering my mate passed out on his first one, i was quite scared... but seriously... the pain is bareable. I barely made a facial expression.. The only bit when i went "ooo" was when she got a bit of my elbow.

Nothing medical about getting bummed in the barracks

I would get a penis on my penis

init lol. I'd consider it if I wasn't so anorexic.

I obsess about what to get when it's something like an engraving on my iPod or something like that, so it would take me like a year to make sure I was confident about what tattoo I wanted.

I'd probably get 'You'll Never Walk Alone' or something because that's the only thing I can categorically guarantee will never change in terms of my interests. Also words are probably much cheaper than an image, and when i ask my mates how much their tattoos cost it's usually stupidly expensive.

My mate got some biblical quote like across the top right of his chest, and personally I think it looks so stupid where it is.

gotta be careful with some star tattoos are the symbols for homosexuality and tribals are just crap unless you get one that covers ur whole arm/upperarm-shoulder.

get something different on your lower shoulder or stomach

Immenseman

if i got one on my arm i'd want it on inner bit. shoulder ones are soooo over done. any tribal ones or any star ones are awful as well as chinese symbol ones lol

i got a nautical star with wings on for my first one. I dont regret it at all, and yes i do agree Stars are so overrated, but i did want at least one.. and why not it be my first :)

I ready about a lady that got a chinese symbol around her belly and wore cropped top's and wondered why people alway's laughed at her - turn's out the tattooist had made a mistake and instead of hope it read shopping trolley (lmao irl). But I want one on my shoulder of freddie mercury, like a small one with the lyric's ''the show must go on'' and maybe like a few heart's on my ankle or something.

I got a tattoo last year and I didn't think the pain was that bad, it's on my fore-arm.
I'm getting another one in about 6 months, not sure what I want yet though.
Not bothered about it being personal or what ever because most the time the excuses for getting a tattoo are aloda b/s anyway.
But at the same time I wouldn't want a star or something silly like that.
This guy I know has got a cobweb on his arm and the metallica logo on his back and I think they look absolutely ridiculous.
But you see people with skulls and what-not and they look good, so they don't have to have a meening to be cool (:

I have a tattoo of Bruce, the shark from Jaws on my back. Very personal to me. I am in agreement that stars are meaningless and utterly dumb.

Does everything I say have to be backed up my proof? I'll get a shot sometime if I remember.

Because so much of what you say sounds exaggerated.

Like what? That I have a tattoo of Bruce from my favourite film of all time on my back? lol. I'll get someone to photograph it tomorrow or something.

The thing I wouldn't get is a Liverpool badge on my leg. EVERYONE who supports Liverpool does that, it's far too cliché.

My mate is a huge Queens Of The Stone Age fan so he cut up a few different posters and put parts together to design his tattoo. It looks fantastic!

It's not that, I'd just love to see it so much! :)
