Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (2009)

I saw the first part of this movie.
I really like the movie. Me and my son saw that movie almost 5-6 time. Still love to see that movie whenever we get free.
I was just curious to know if any one have seen the second part of the movie?

Seen it, it was basically the first story recycled with female talking/singing chipmunks.

When I went to see Avatar there were two teenage girls in front of me who were lining up to get tickets for Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. When they got there both them and me were surprised to her that the movie was sold out. Why the hell is a movie like this sold out! I've seen the first movie and all I can say is that it just wasn't my thing. I only watched it because my little brother got it for Christmas and I said I'd watch it with him. Damn I'm a nice guy.

Most probably the worst film ever. Seen trailers, heard music from them, and it really does look awful and annoys me intensely. Although, saying this, I guess i'll never know if it's any good, because I am never going to watch it.

Agreed, I watched the first one and it was HORRIFIC, never again.
May appeal to kids but dont bet on it.

Who did you hear that from? :P Avatar has been at the top of the Box Office for both the UK and the US for a couple of weeks now and continues to remain there. I assume Alvin will overtake it eventually though as Avatar finishes its run.

It's in third place in both countries so I doubt very, very much that it'll go any higher. The first major Friday release will knock Avatar down to number two or three in the next couple of weeks and then it'll drift down, as for Chipmunks, it'll disappear.

It's the end of the week so more people are likely to go to the cinema than say if a film was released on Monday.
