Move over snowmen, there's a new snow construction in town! We used a rectangle paint tub to put the snow in then use as snow bricks :eusa_danc

Haha yeh i was thinking that before we made it, but its fine in there, the walls are really sturdy. Except for a bit directly to the left of the door which is caving in a bit.

Just hoping some little rats don't smash it tonight.

Yup, we made a circle of the bricks, then just plopped the next row on, then like every 3 rows we got loads of soft snow and smeered it on to glue them together. The hardest part was doing the top of the doorwar, we had two bricks and a keystone then like 4 of us held it in place whilst others glued it together with snow, but it worked perfectly.

IGLOO UPDATE

I just went around to the house we did it infront of, and well its starting to distort, the door way has changed very noticeably and i can see it crumbling overnight (right next to there front window i may add, and all that snow isnt light. smashhh)

But its safe in there, untill it starts creaking haha!

And we are NEVER destroying it!!, we are going tomorrow early to do some maintenance so i will post a pic of our progress tomorrow morning :)

Just nipped round to have a look, and it is so distorted now Haha, the bottom half of the doorway is about 2 ft wider than the top, because its like squashing itsself. It better bloody hurry up and freeze!!

I am afraid to inform you.. There has been an accident.

After realising it was slowly falling in on itself, someone then decided to get inside to proof it was ok. Then immediately after giving a small reassurance push on the wall the whole thing collapsed leaving them covered in snow, and i mean covered, we couldn't see them for about 20 seconds. Pictures tomorrow.

So just been round, and work has already been begun on the twice a big Snow Castle!!!. But yeh whats left of the iglu is a massive lump of snow and half a remaining wall.
