So today my mum found a blackberry, only thing is its asking for a password or something. Unlucky for me, i dont know the password.

So does anyone know how to reset it anything :D

Ive never tried to do it, but ive got a max of 10 pass tries on my bb, just go rite to the end if you can of the tries you can do, might be able to reset it from their.

You'd be best selling it (CEX or something, they offer a decent amount for Blackberry's) or going into a network providers shop (Vodafone store etc), they're always good with codes when you've forgotten passwords.

it says, Enter "blackberry" to continue, so i type blackberry in then comes up saying. Enter Password (4/5):

Looks like i only get 5 tries and used 4.
Do you think if i take it to a phone shop they can do anything to it?

EDIT:
Since my mum found it and it is locked would CEX still buy it? ( they might think its stolen)

Its a blackberry 8120 CEX only offer £40, rather keep it. Think ill take it to a phone shop 2morrow and see if they can reset the phone or anything.

so i failed the password afew times and it seems to have reset all data, meaning unlocked.
Thanks to whoever said to try it 10times.
