Hi guys!

I was wondering if you could translate the following phrase for me?
お休み、世界。

I'm curious about what it means, hopefully it's nothing profane, but +rep to anyone who can tell me what it means.

Thanks!

'Day off, world.', apparently.

Is absent; the world.

お休み means "good night". 休み itself is rest or holiday.
世界 is world, so put them together and get "good night, world".

This sounds like the best answer, but languages rarely work by putting words together like that. I mean the three parts together could easily mean something different :P.

Yes, and I would have imagined the difference to be even more extreme.
