So there is this massive shop which stocks ALOT of stuff. Its huge! By stuff I mean from bedding to toys to swords!

On 23rd December, my dad got loads of CCTV installed.

The theives climbed into my dads yard at 1am on 27th (God knows how they didn't notice all the CCTV's). They climbed into the next doors building, and robbed alot of stuff. They brought it back into my dads yard and took what they liked. They left alot of illegal stuff like swords.

They then climbed in on 1st Jan at midnight and robbed him again.

They climbed in again on 3rd about midnight and robbed some more.

On 6th, they climbed in again at 8pm and robbed him again.

So the shop keeper waited with alot of people. Last night the theives came at 6pm. The shopkeeper and co chased them for ages. Brought them back to the shop, beat them up, broke their bones and hit them in their private parts alot.

Then threw them outside the building, called the police and said they fell off the icy roof LOL.

The theives were aged between 13-20 and 5 of them. I saw them yesterday when I came out of my dads work at 5 and they were driving past in a car looking in and I was like "watch them rob him again tonight".
Which idiots rob a place at 6pm when other shops around it are open :S and they got over confident thinking they can rob him everyday.

Got what they deserved.

i think it was a tad ott attacking them to that extreme. what they did obviously wasn't right, but being treated that way is just wrong imo and therefore the shopkeeper should get what he deserves :l

I don't think violence is ever the answer, should have contacted the police originally.

Dont you think he did? Police have all the CCTV's. Shop has been robbed many times before in the past, the police did **** all even though you could clearly see the faces.

So he had to take matters into his own hands and beat them up for robbing him so many times over the last few weeks and causing him to lose thousands.

get guns mounted on them cameras lad, chop chop

If that was the case I wouldn't have beaten them up, i'd have got them, locked them in a room and then got the police there.

Then they'd be forced to do something.

Its easy to say that. But if someone keeps robbing you, and you lose thousands because of it - and all the time and trouble and stress too - and then thinks they can rob you at 6pm, they deserve to be beaten up. What the hell will the police do to 13 year old kids "/

Now they have learnt a bigger lesson.

Seriously, what do the police REALLY do nowadays? They're more useless than a glass hammer.

I suppose, but if the injuries arent compliant with falling off a roof, or the theives say something the shopkeeper is in trouble?

Swearwolf

that's not a bad idea, you smash a glass hammer over their heads and it destroys the murder weapon at the same time, get some

I (for once haha) agree with Saurav. If someone deliberatly sets out to attack another persons place of work or residence then they should no longer be treated within the same rights as the decent, law-abiding citizens.

Kick 'em again I say.

Like I said, police will do nothing. He just said they all fell off the roof because its slippery and its the theives word against the shopkeepers.

Thats a bit of an ignorant thing to say. A lot of police officers are out there protecting people like you. Without justice the world would go to hell.

I don't mean it directly to the police - they don't decide what they can and can't do. It's the government and these stupid 'human rights' that criminals apparently have.

Thanks. :)

The Police aren't the useless ones, the courts and judges are. The Police do all the hard work and the criminals get pitiful sentences. Not the fault of the Police really.

Violence is the answer, The punishments in this country are not strict enough so they will carry on doing it because they know they will only get a slap on the wrist. If i caught someone stealing from me or my family I'd be quite happy to put something round their heads and see them on their way to hospital:)

If i was a group of police officers id wait with the shopkeeper n co and cuff em to the drain pipes, tease em with the swords nd smack em about abit, should teach em not to steal

Some police officers just trawl the streets in vans, they surely have time to do a quick 20 mins smack about

more to the point why was it so easy to break in and why did it happen so many times in such a short period? shop keeper or whatever appears pretty stupid and therefore it's their own fault

This is the UK Oli, the police are known to be a little bit **** sometimes :P. As for locking them in a room, you'd probably need to beat them up first to do that anyway and I don't think the shopkeeper will get into trouble because he has a strong argument for self-defence (should probably use that instead of the roof story to be honest).

Just like I love the CCTV clips from shopkeepers in the USA fending off robbers, I have no sympathy for these burglars.

Last time they robbed him, he put barbed wires etc. But they are nothing to theives. They can still climb over. This time it was done during the Christmas holidays when the shop wasnt open.
You cant really get a new alarm system with ADT installed instantly. Hence he has already ordered that (so he says) and will get them fitted soon.

Glad they got what they deserved.

If I was the shopkeeper I would have tried to take them all on my own, punch their lights out........ then I would have got the crap beaten out of me and probably getting fed through a tube, with all my stuff stolen :(

Yeah, I agree with that!

I'm surprised that the police released them all considering all the evidence or maybe it's all been blown out of proportion.

I thought you didn't support the death penalty Saurav (although if i'm wrong my apologies) but you support corporal punishment?

Anyway on the subject itself, totally support it - police are toothless pen-pushers nowadays and they got what they deserved. The only way these people learn not to mess with others is when something like this happens to them.

Meh, their fault for being idiots. Annoying the police didn't do anything sooner, though let's not generalised the police for being lazy and useless, they're very efficient in many areas and are generally better than what you find in other countries :P

A Home Alone styled capture would of been better - chuck lubricants over them, make them slip into a deep pool of some sort, then chuck pink feathers over them making it look like a tarts incomplete but functional tarts boudoir.

I am against the death penalty, but if these idiots think they can rob a place every night, and then get cocky and try at 6pm and try and act smart, they deserve to be beaten up so they learn a lesson.

I am not too sure if you know how prisons work and how many fights there are in there.
Death penalty is nothing like getting beaten up. :S

I personally think they got what they deserved. If they have the sheer audacity to attempt to burgle a place at 6pm when they know other places surrounding it are open, then they can deal with whatever consequences come of it.
