What is the earliest thing you can remember?

I couldn't say. I get retrieval queues all the time and I wouldn't be able to tell which memory is the earliest.

being like 3 years old and being out in the snow, like 4 foot of it.... and then getting in my push chair.. it's a really random memory i don't know why but seeing as i'm in a pusher but can still walk i'm probably around that age
um, and then probly the scariest earliest memory would be, being about 4 and on my bike going down the street racing the other kids, and i like went in a pot hole and flewwwwww over the handlebars and cracked my teeth, and everyone was like around me a bunch of 5 year olds while i was screaming crying... then i gotta go in an ambulance
is that weird? do people remember earlier times than that?

mine is weird, i *THINK* i remember me being held by my nan and she was just messing about and put a wig on me (LOL) and i started crying. however, i have a seen a photo and i was only like 1/2 or something but i'm sure i do remember it!! maybe though i just think i have cuz i've seen the photo, idk? earliest one for sure is walking up a little side path by my first house musta been when i was 3ish and seeing a boat the neighbours had outside

hmmm, i couldn't pin a date to any of them so i'll go with a few.
Being at my nanas (i'd have been around 2 cause i was about that age when she died) and remembering crawling into her bedroom to get her wooden aeroplane toy she kept up there for me. My parents were shocked like hell when i told them it that clearly.
Another is small and pretty much pointless, i remember being pushed around the top of my street before we moved into the new house (my street being the one i moved into and currently live in) i lived about half a mile away in the last house. It probaly stuck in my memory because when i was young i'd have pieced together "wow i've seen this street before" and "wow i know live in this street".
and another one was remembering getting into the back of the removal van the day we moved out drove by my uncle, my mam and dad couldn't even remember it that clearly they had about an hour discussion on its detail "i can't remember your uncle driving the van" then it turned out he did lmao. So blanked by an ancient memory for them ;D

Probably when I was 2 and my auntie was bringing me down the stairs, she tripped and I landed on my leg breaking it, I remember then straight after it seeing my cousins friend in the sitting room staring at me xD

When I was around 3-4, I opened the door and walked out (my parents were upstairs) with my uncle (he's got Down Syndrome so he's not exactly the responsible adult!). We walked around all night and in the morning, some lady saw us and gave us breakfast and she called the police and the police van came and I cried cos I thought I was going to be arrested but we just played tag in the police corridors and then my parents collected us. end of memory. :)
But an earlier one isn't really a memory, more an association. I was about 2 when my nana died but everytime I see 'branston pickles' or w/e they're called, I remember my nana because she loved them! I think I must remember the smell.

My old old house, it was night and a fire engine went down the road. I just remember the flash blue light going past the window.
Same old house, and my first memory of snow. I liked watching it come down from the sky.
And finally I remember my ball going over the fence and realising it was lost because next door had very unfriendly dogs :P
I must have been about 3-4 because we moved when I was 5.

Oooh when I was in nursery and we were playing sleeping beauty in the sand pit. I had to pretend to be asleep and then this girl, who I hated, decided to pour sand in my eyes when I opened them :(.

I also remember having the same dream over and over again when I was little that I was somersaulting/flying down the stairs in my old house.

I remember when I was four my mum and dad had gone out for the evening leaving me and my sister with the baby sitter.
Anyway after we were put to bed I decided to go and wake my sister up and get her to join me in a game this game involved us standing at the top of the stairs whilst we spat down into the hall trying to aim for the baby sitters shoes.. I actually got it on target a few times

I also remember being like 2/3 when I was lost in the centre of town and saw a women that looked a bit like my mum on the other side of the street so decided just to run across the road in front of a bus.. soon to be saved by my dad who as it turned out was actually standing right behind me lol

Yeah any that I have are extremely random. They're almost just snapshots rather than actually doing something. Like I remember various scenes of a couple of my dad's pubs, and I remember standing out in the yard at my grandparents' farm when I went to visit them in Ireland, must have been my first time seeing them. I've also got various ones from my favourite house from when I was little. I always seem to assume I was 4 years old in the memories as well, dunno why.
I think it's 2 or 3 isn't it?

You reminded me of a dream I remember having loads when I was little too! :D Would take ages to explain though lol.

I remember when I was in Nursery, I put sand in my hair and blamed it on this guy. :P
My proper earliest memory, like not seeing a picture and then kinda imagining a situation around it, is my dad leaving . I remember him standing over his desk putting everything in a box and me sitting on the floor just asking him where he was going and if I could keep his business card holder which was really cute and had ducks on it.

When I was in nursery at christmas (I was about 4) and we was making a father christmas from tights stuffed with news paper and I was painting the red :D
There's loads, but I can't remember all of them so clearly.
I remember in my Nan's garden I tried to escape all the time haha - she had to tie the gate up so I couldn't get out.
