Thread title is pretty self explanatory what is the biggest or worst lie that you've ever told? Why did you tell it? Did you get away with it? Did you get exposed as a liar?

lying is for cowards, I've told the truth the majority of my life, if i was to lie it would be in a sarcastic tone, your problem if you don't pick up on it. (y)

In year 6 me and this other lad through our milk cartons out the bus window in the way home and when we got in trouble I told my parents I didn't do it. I know this isn't very big, but I consider this as the biggest lie I've told because it was kind of the turning point in that from then on I sort of stopped lying (to my parents at least). And I was really surprised at their reaction because they weren't mad or anything when they found out lol, so it all kind of just stuck with me :P.

I used to lie, dont anymore, but it was when I was in year 6 and hit someone they were like Teacher: "Why did you do it" Me: "I didnt" Teacher: "Everyone say you"

I can't think of the biggest lie i've told, but one lie i remember was that my dog chewed up a book I borrowed from primary school and mum found it, i said i found it in the bushes near school even though it was borrowed in my name. I kept insisting the dog didn't do it!

If I lie then I feel really guilty, even for a smallsmallsmallsmall lie.
But I can lie to my sister cos she is a compulsive lying ***** anyway :)
But in school I lied about homework all the time and once killed off a family friend :(
but otherthan that I don't lie

I told a girl i was gay so she should leave me alone? Not really a big lie but the last lie i told.
that i was male
jkes lol, i dont tell major lies only things like "ye you look nice" (to people i dont like init) or "naa i didnt do it" :P
that i liked someone, when i actually despised them, which resulted in them practically stalking me.
I told someone I was straight, once. They believed me and left me alone too... bargain.
LOL this is so immature but when I was like 12 I was a huge fan of the bill and I was pretending to be a prisonor and handcuffed myself with string when my parents were out. I then couldn't untie it so rang my grandad using my nose to type and said that someone tied me up thinking it would be hilarious. He then rang the police and it got way out of hand :l

lmaoooo :(
they had to interview me and everything, and once i've lied I don't usually go back on it
when ever I lie it's usually me trying to cover up my laziness. I think I've told some pretty bad ones but nothings ever come of them or I've just admitted I was lying. I can't rly remember.

When i was 5 years old, i said this to my mum: "Those aren't my cookie crumbs". It was a big deal at the time coz I was 5 and wasn't allowed cookies until I'd done my homework, hehe :P

I went on a dating site once pissing about, and put my nationality as chinese, said that i was 34 and put loads of fake pictures on. Then it got out of hand, this chinese person wouldn't stop pestering me, asking to meet up, and asking me for my number. I told her i was going on vacation for a month, then fled all of my email accounts, msns...
There's one chinese woman out there waiting for her true love to come back.
Oops.

How many people would say that their biggest lie is saying that they don't lie?
