Please get rid of the banner advertising it, it takes a good percentage of the screen up and there's really no need for it, it's well established that a lot of us don't use Habbo anymore. On other forums they atleast put an X so you can close it.

I was okay with the Christmas VIP banner seeing as it was for Charity (Although it did surprise me that it still remained there once you bought VIP) but this is too much :(

It shouldn't take up most of the screen and it's there to promote that section more since a lot of people miss announcements :P. There is a dismiss button though so I'll add that in

I like the idea of banners, good community advertisement :)

And tbh Jordy, this is a habbo forum so even if the majority of our members don't use habbo (which is false) we still need to be attracting a new influx of members from Habbo, which is why simple advertisements like that are brilliant.

People complained that community event dont get announced enough, and they didnt know it was going on. I think its a great idea to do :)

Just because users don't use Habbo doesn't mean it's no longer a Habbo forum. These advertisements are good as people always seem to say "Oh I never realised we had that" when the thing closes.

And I think banners are a good idea. As previously mentioned, it raises awareness of what is going on around Habbox and HabboxForum, in case people miss the announcements.

I'm not saying that we're not a Habbo forum. I'm saying that a lot of us do not use Habbo and that we should have a dismiss button as a result of that. I'm not against it being used for advertising, just not permanently. And if you really want to get more Habbo visitors, my suggestion of demanding people who wish to submit Room Reviews put "www.habbox.com" in the Room Description would promote Habbox much better IMO.

And thank you for the dismiss button so quickly, it works fine for me :)

When I hit the dismiss button it takes away the banner but there's now an empty "notices" box there!

It's a good source of advertising and it'll be used as and when new things start so they can be advertised properly and don't just fail :P

Getting people to include Habbox in the room description is something I've already spoken to bolt about so that should be happening soon too.

There's a white rectangle but for me it's the same one which was there when the VIP banner was, and it's not that big either. Might depend which skin you're using tho

If you refresh / go to forum index it should disappear, did when I tried it anyway.
