I need a bit of help here.

I am trying to download SAM Broadcaster which is incompatible with my MacBook.

Does anyone know anything about "Boot Camp" which you can run with a Windows disk on the Mac?

Go to Utilities, run bootcamp and go through it. Just partition the drive however much you think you'll need and then insert the windows disc and install as normal.

Windows needs to be non-64 bit.

Then once that is complete and you are on the windows OS put your OS X disc in and it will install the correct drivers.

From then on you can use the ALT key when booting the choose which OS you wish to load into.

Although you might be better off with Parallels Desktop 5 for Mac if you just want to run the one program. Would be better than having to reboot for the single program.

I'm sure when I did it in the summer it told me I couldn't. My mistake then :)

I think they may have updated it, not sure though, I did have to do some trickery to get the Apple drivers to install on it, can't remember if that was because it was 64 bit or just Windows 7 :P

I think 64bit requires digitally signed drivers

I think 64bit requires digitally signed drivers

It does but it wasn't the terrible digital signature work around (so much time and effort wasted on that in Vista and 7 it's unbelievable), it was just the driver installers didn't recognise the OS.

So what exactly do you have to do to run 64-bit on boot camp?

Just install it and then download the latest bootcamp drivers now I think.
