Something to add to your forum clean up

Surely there has to be a cut off point when a forum is considered dead and unwanted? personally I wouldnt mind threads about linux in the main forum!

@ graham Because putting users of different os's in the same forum together ends in the biggest geek handbag fight of the century.

I know it's rare for me to disagree with you alex, but I like it all nice and neatly categorised. It's not on the index and therefore does less harm :)

I think it's good to have them seperate, it could get quite confusing if they were mixed together and as James says, it could cause arguments.

It's nice having them separate regarding the Tech, it makes it more organised regarding different operating system and mobile phone devices. Leaving the main forum for discussion.

Prefixes in Tech Forum > Wouldn't go down well and would look dam messy.

I think trying to remove the Linux forum would be suicide tbh, it all has a soft spot in all of us. That and who seriously wants Ubuntu chat clogging up our precious main forum. It's one of the few categories that is currently well thought out and organised.

Really? Titles tend to be a big give away :S

I'm against this, seeing as the forum is quite neat as it is, and because Linux isn't something you talk about on a daily basis, any specific queries would be buried.
