I've liked this girl for about a year now, and she knew it from the beginning. We were gonna start dating, but I decided not to at the last second, so she went and got a different boyfriend.
And just recently, maybe a month ago, we started talking again.
Well, stuff happened and long story short we began dating.
We started dating this previous Thursday, and every day since she's continuously asking me things like, "do you really like me," "we can break up if you want," and just things like that.
I mean, I'd understand if I was actually doing something to make her feel that way, but in all honesty, I've done nothing to make her feel that way.
I'm not the kind of person that makes the same mistake twice, so I know it can't be the same thing over and over again.
And there's another thing. One of her good friends is also one of my good friends. When we were all hanging out, I was playing around with this friend, and Misty (my gf) apparently was jealous of it. I wasn't going to wrestle with my girlfriend of not even three days, when I've know this friend longer than I've know her. I mean, I think of this friend like she is one of the guys. We're always wrestling and slap-boxing(boxing except for smacks not punches) and just playing around. But with Misty, I'm more laid back and trying to comfort her, trying to be a boyfriend, not trying to slam her through a play-set. I mean, I somewhat see why she would be jealous of this, but whatever.
And then Misty confronted me about it, asking "do you like her like her" and things of that nature. And I wasn't going to lie to her, so I said yeah, I do. I mean, I've just never had the balls to tell her that I liked her. I don't see why I could do it with Misty, but with Mayra (the friend), it's completely different, even though I am more comfortable around her.
ANYWAYS, Misty became more upset, and started saying things like, "why would you tell me you like her," and "if you like her then why don't you just break up with me and date her," and "well you like her more because she's prettier and skinnier."
Like ***?! WHERE DID THIS COME FROM?! And at the same time, Misty's brother is one of my best friends, and Misty and I are talking to him about the stuff while we're talking to each other. So he knows every little detail.
And as it turns out, he felt like telling Mayra that I liked her, even though I had no intention of telling her because I honestly didn't want her to know because I was dating Misty. So now she knows and now Misty is still asking me if we should break up so I could go out with Mayra, and Mayra is just completely ignoring me now.
*** am I suppose to do? Do I break up with Misty and talk to Mayra.
Do I stay with Misty and tell Mayra that Casey (the best friend) was just ******* around?
And what happens if Mayra likes me back? I've known Mayra longer, liked her longer, and I am WAY more comfortable around Mayra than I am around Misty.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO?!
If you can piece any of this together, as I know it's pretty random (at least that's what I thought when I re-read it), could you please give me your best advice?
