Hi hi hi.

So i got an Xbox 360 at christmas, and now i am getting increasingly worried as i play on it quite a bit. I'm worried about it breaking.

Do i get a warranty with it?, How long is it? What do i do if it breaks? Is it worth buying a cover form GAMEcare or a similar game shop?

Thanks xx

no point, microsoft will fix it for free if it goes wrong in the first year i believe.

You get one year full warranty, this includes any issue with your xbox 360, controllers, power packs etc.

After that you get an additional two years which cover any Red Ring of Death and the E72 error.

So that's three years covering the most common issues, I think you'll be fine and plus there isn't really any insurance you can get anyway, it'd have to be taken out when you purchase it. Plus the newer Xbox 360s (like yours) are far more reliable than they used to be.

Same as this.

Based on my experiences with insurance up to now, I don't think I'll ever be taking any out that isn't compulsory.

Thats not entirely true.

If you buy through Game they give you 30 days after youve bought it to go in and purchase GAMECare i believe it is. That insures accidental breakage, When your warrenty runs out they cover for all breakdown repairs and controllers are covered aswell, Unlimited repairs and they take care of all repair costs or replace the console if its not repairable. That last for 2 years.

The cost is 19.99£ for 50£-99.99£
Or 24.99£ for 100£-149.99£
Or 29.99£ for 150£-199.99£
And 34.99£ for 200£+
