I've noticed over the past couple of weeks, the forum seems to be a lot more active again, most probably due to the excellent recent changes, and also more popular and discussional threads being created (mainly by Immenseman!).
Nice job everyone. :8

I try my best :P I just browse and then post on stuff that has an interesting title, and think of stuff in bed to make a thread about.

Do you mean the discuss anything section is more active? Personally I haven't noticed much of a change in the forums i post in :P

I haven't seen spam this active for a long long time. I haven't had new posts that interest me every time I click new posts for a long long time. Correlation to management actually making beneficial changes and forum activity. I blame them when the forum is struggling so the praise has to go to them when it's doing well :) I do make loads of threads and stimulate discussion but I shouldn't be singled out because it takes more than one person to have a discussion :P.
Well done to all :8

Damn straight, time we earned some recognition ;)
Management have made some pretty nice changes that seem to have made improvements to the amount of posts.

The night spam went crazy (Friday) I was actually shocked at how well behaved they all were :P
Spam tends to cause less trouble nowadays (active or not) as at the moment the majority of people tend to get on, but you know how HxF swings, there'll be a major argument around the corner someday.

It could actually be that more people are revising and do that on their computers, so they come here at the same time and stuff :O

I spose the question is is it bringing in new members who are posting? Cos that was the issue in the first place

I must say I've seen several new members come, and actually stay. I wouldn't say its giving the whole 100% of the uprise in activity, but still there's something there which is better than it was doing before.

I think the forum being more active makes threads less popular. But depends how busy the forum is.

How old is sierk, anyway? And is this like an investment thing for him :S?
I don't see the forum being more active, probably because most of the time its dead when i'm on.
