Hey All

I've thought about this a lot, my Question is: how do you pronounce Habbox? is it Habbo-X or Habb-oX?

I believe that the correct way to pronounce it is actually Habbo-X but most people see 'Habbox' and instantly think of Hab-ox

The official way is ha-box. Most people actually think Habbo-x, that is wrong.

It's Ha-box... Ha-bo-ex is wrong, and people only called it that when Habbo eXperts came about. Does no-one listen to Ha-box radio?

8freak8 did a poll on Habbox.com - most people believed it was habbo-x he told everyone it was hab-box. Admittedly, that was like four years ago but I remember until he said that I thought it was habbo-x :P

So no matter what the outcome of this thread, you were gonna continue calling it Habbo-x? Like, full on waste of time much.

Was worse when the Habbo X's scheme was introduced on Habbo.

I've called it Habbo-ex since I first heard of it, and that was in the time of Hobbas I think, wayyyyyy before Habbo eXperts :P.

I would have though someone would have said it is ha-box for a reason.

Habbox used to have Habbox TV - so at the time Ha-box was quite clever :)

Jake is right, last time I checked it seemed that "habbo-x" was the popular pronunciation. This was even before the habbo-x program on the hotel which we all groaned about when we heard that was coming. However the actual pronunciation is hab-box

The creator of Habbox and the original staff all say it's Hab-box so that's what it is :D

Even if URLs used capital letters, you could say the same about 'hab-box' being spelt www.HabBox.com. I think a reason why 'habbo-x' is assumed, is because everyone is already used to the word 'Habbo' so if they see 'Habbox', they're not going to suddenly change how they're saying it for no reason.
