Gemma is fit jingle

There is a jingle where they have random people say 'Gemma is fit'. The jingle lasts well over 1minute and is just really annoying.

Just wondering, what is the whole purpose of the jingle?

I think she just uses it to start her show, the random people are other DJs. A lot of DJs have their own jingles to start there show

Nope, I don't use it- mine are all studio ones :).

Yeh many DJs have a mash of various voices in a jingle about them. Gemma uses it at the start of every show and in various sections as well. I quite like it :P - makes it more personal by using other DJs voices.

The purpose of this jingle, is like the purpose of any jingle- to present some crucial information of who is DJing etc etc.

I'm sure that is what every professional radio station wants there radio presenters to be pro-traded as.

Well at a personal note, I think its a unprofessional and just a horrid jingle.

This may be my view as I'm not a 14 year old child. But I think i will stick with radio one for the time being. Thx for your replies anyway.

And yeah, it's just used as a show opener as stated by previous replies, it was also made for me by DJ Rocker, and the "fit" phrase was a personal joke between us. Sorry if you dislike it, but personally I do.

I was just pointing out the obvious, I never said I liked or disliked it. Yeah habbox do try to be professional as does any habbo fansite although habbox are a little more laid back. Its a habbo fansite afterall and not radio one. Okay have fun listening to radio one ;).
