Agreed so much. I love them both, but i hate it when it happens like that. It's like if a British films released, sometimes it's over there first :(

I agree its very annoying, as with films too. For instance all the harry potter films were entirely filmed in the UK by request from JK I think but then for the film just released the world wide premier of it was in Japan :/ should have been in leicester sq.

you can't say they won't flop after alex has only released one album and leona is on her second :S leonas second album has charted considerably lower around the world than spirit did, but you can only judge what direction her career will take after another album or two...

i wouldn't really say she's 'smashing' europe lol. for someone to have major success somewhere, they'd need to release more than a single (which reaches atleast top 5 in the majority of relevant charts) or two and an album (which is due to be released in europe soon). whether people thought she'd break europe or not is completely irrelevant anyway, as you can't judge or predict whether an artist will flop or not so early in their career. it's always hard for an artist to live up to their first album (especially an artist from a reality show like x-factor) because the hype which surrounds the first album is immense compared to the next.

nevertheless, congrats to her, but still it's early days to predict anything.

I really hope she does well and Danny you cant say Leona Lewis has no personality, she will probably be someone like Barbara Streisand, no one will say she has no personality, she is a mega star and doesnt do much tv/shouting but people wont say shes got no personality.

People won't forget about Lady GaGa anytime soon. Leona signed a 5 Album deal, so we've still got another 3 of hers to go.

When have you known a buzz to be so big about anyone in the 21st century than it is about Lady GaGa?
she'll be around for years and years!

And Leona lewis voice will keep her in music industry because no one can quite do it like her.
