Saw this movie on Film 2010 last night with no prior knowledge of it and was unbelievably impressed by the footage shown. I've never really rated Tobey Maguire as a serious actor until now. His performances looks phenomenal. The film is already out in America and is released in the UK this Friday (22nd).

I saw that also and I totally agree, he looks awesome in it! I always thought he might have turned out like Mark Hamill :P.

Yeah I see what you're saying. Tobey has done a few voice acting roles here and there already, such as in Cats & Dogs. Surely his acting career can only improve from here on though. Also, I think Mark Hamill probably went in the right direction. He is a fantastic voice actor. :P

Lmao as soon as I posted that comment, I went on Wiki to check out both of their filmographies and was suprised at how much Tobey has actually done. Also surprised that Hamill not only does voice acting but more specifically, anime :D.

Yeah, Tobey Maguire has a million films in production. Mark Hamill hasn't really done much anime. He is perhaps most well known in the voice acting world for his roles as The Joker in Batman: Arkham Asylum and Fire Lord Ozai in Avatar: The Last Airbender. He has also done a lot of voice work for video games.

I just got back from seeing it. Tobey Maguire was bloody amazing. Totally blew me away. My mouth was wide open in amazement during all of his intense scenes. I really hope he continues to do roles like Sam in Brothers. Totally recommend. Fantastic film.

Well, we know he won't be donning a mask anytime soon.

I'm kind of glad he quit Spider-man before getting typecast too much.
