IPod Touch 2g Help!

Ok something happened with my ipod so I go and restore it after that it re boots then when Itunes opens up it say Cannot connect Unknown error (0xE8000065) what should I do should I resstore it manually is so how do I do that please help!!

Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.
Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.
Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.
Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.

DFU mode, iTunes will detect it and restore it.
