Instead of ideas like 'they weren't avaliable in catalouge' or 'they were only avaliable for 30 mins' Super rare values and Rare values should be considered like this;

Super rares = rare, or 'hard to get' rares - uncommon furni (E.G: black pillow)
Norm rares = easy to get a hold of - common furni (E.G: green drag)

It would be much easier to understand because I remember as a noob to Habbo, (on .com) i used http://www.bobbavalues.com (http://www.bobbavalues.com/) and it was really easy to understand (they have this layout i'm suggesting), other than on this forum we always see the same question crop up, 'how many on the hotel'

I know this may seem a bit drastic and a big change, but i'm sure alot of people will agree with me

Thanks for reading

I like this idea as well, it would be much easier for people to understand. We will see what Jin says :)

Would this mean the current super vs normal system would be scrapped, so that nobody would know which rares have been released? I think it sounds like a useful idea except for that point.

To be honest, I shouldn't even comment on these things cos I don't play the damn thing :P.

We were considering also rating the furniture by its "availability". We dont want to confuse the hotel further by changing the system structure at this point and have the ambiguity between.

Rare = Expensive item of furniture
and
Rare = Hard to obtain furniture.

Based upon these changes a lot of furniture should be considered super rare such as the snowy poster which back in early nov was impossible to find.

Basically our system is better but could do with a few revisions to explain an items availability which is due in a later revision of our rare values system update and certainly after 7 years we are not going to be changing the system to a different one.

No matter if it was better or what ever I dont think it would work as we've had the same, leading format for almost 6 years now. Changing it now would be like cancelling Eastenders.

No, they should be kept different. However, they could easily add how many of the furni there is on the hotel (for some super rares) to meet your needs.

I see what you mean Pabble but the only problem is, a lot of miscs would then become supers which would probably confuse some people. I think that ALL values should just be split in to categories, such as recolors, catalogue rares, collectables etc on just one page and then in the hover message, an item could be rated as 'Common', 'Rare', 'Super Rare.' It's basically your idea and my idea in the other thread put together :P

working on that its like cancelling big brother.

change is always a good thing, but people are always hesitant at first. I think maybe a better change is needed, but, ill see what the new look rares look like first

even though i never play habbo lol

I was going to mention something about availability but you would have to ensure that it would be updated on a regular basis along with the values as amounts of furni in circulation changes all the time.

Should just be done HHGS style (how they used to do it).

Common
Rare
Very Rare
Ultra Rare
Extinct

sort of like that. I added Extinct for rares such as the V Guitar. (not the one with the crappy ad on top of lol)

No, collectors collect rares and then sell. Often a rare will seem the rarest thing in the world for a few days, then a whole load of them will appear in the market. It will cause arguments, we'll have people constantly saying 'my rare should be a super its very rare' and so on, theres miscs which are incredibly rare aswell which would cause arguments as people would say they are not rare, whereas others would.

An example is the Peppermint Ice Cream Machine, quite rare on Habbo but a collector has 600+ of them and thus being the reason why they are so 'rare'. The HHGS style had rares organised and placed in sections based on how they were released, just as Habbox has at this current moment. Having a 'common' etc under the rares I think would work, but not basing where an item goes on how rare it is because it just wouldn't work.

Totally. I disagree having sections changed for how rare, I just think it shoiuld be done hopw HHGS did it.
