I know I've been posting here a lot but I need serious helpppp.

one of my 12 year old friends gave a guy a blow job. yes I know she's young. but anyways we're doing the sex ed unit in health, so my one friend decided to tell her and warn her that she's not technically a virgin so she wasn't shocked and didn't have a meltdown in health class. well she had a little mini meltdown right there, and she was half kidding but you could tell she was still upset. also, the same day, one of my friends told me and that same girl she cut. now mind you, these are two of my really good friends. she showed me all the cuts on her arm. today, she showed me again, and she had at least 30 cuts on there. she hides them with her sleeves or a sweatband. I never thought anything of it. she says its because of family problems. she showed me the top ones, which she said she did with her 'starter scissors', aka craft scissors, the kind with the curved edge, so they didnt cut very deep. then she saw the point on the end and used that, and showed me those couple. they were very deep and red. I'm really scared for her because she's always been so confident in herself and now she's falling apart. they both told another one of my old best friends, now friends, and she went and told her mom. her mom basically said she was going to tell both of these girls' mothers about what they did. I know this is just good parenting, but the first was just a one night caught up in the moment accident, and the other is pain...she's getting better though. I really dont think it was right of the girl to tell her mom, but I still want to be friends with her. I definitely know what its like in more ways then one to feel guilty and awful and depressed like they did, and I have a lot of sympathy for them, but I just don't know what to do. Am I supposed to sit and just take a side? sign them all up for counseling? stay out of it? whats your opinion?

thanks in advance.

The girl who told her mom really had no business in doing so but her mom didn't do anything wrong in telling the girls' parents about their daughters. I mean, what else could she do? It's better to let adults handle these things, especially when one of the girls is just twelve. And when it comes to serious issues like these, the parents must know about them. I think the best thing to do right now is just to let your friends sort things out with their respective families. And after that, just don't mention anything about the events and gradually allow them to be put behind them. If they decide to talk to you about it first, though, just go with it and see what they have to say.

uhhhhhhh. she's a still virgin if she hasn't had sex..

no. it isn't. if she's showed you the cuts it's either a plea for help or seeking attention. it's normally the latter.... either way, you did the right thing telling someone who managed to do something about it because she needs help inflicting unnecessary pain..
+ back to the girl who gave a guy a blowjob, so what if her mum knows? at least she'll be able to tell her straight the risks etc, she doesnt lose her virginity until she's had sex so idk where she got that from. i'd just stay out of it once their parents know.

according to our health teacher, its sexual activity so no she's not according to my health teacher.

I didn't tell anyone actually, it was really our other friend. they havent done anything about it either. I think you misunderstood, the mom's GOING to tell their parents when she finds their numbers. however both of their parents have different last names from their children so she's having trouble the girl told me...

i tried to read over and over but it made no sense. i understand the mums going to tell their parents, i think that's the right decision... but uhh don't understand the other bit.

no it's not
your hymen can break by cycling, horseriding...
you're still a virgin unless you've been penetrated.......... which she hasn't. so yes she's a virgin. i hope the other girl made that clear to the mum who's going to tell the other (if i've got that right, which i probably haven't because it made no sense)
