I've had mine for months now and there has never been a problem but a rule appears that they cant be over 150x150, and it wasnt there before because the mods never even seen the rule before. Im sure it use to be something like "1000x1000 or 700mb whatever comes first" because it took me ages to find one that was a small size

i don't see why i cant have mine at the size it is when its my page and people don't have to view it if they don't like, i have no problem with the avatar size limit because i'm posting and everyone is going to see it but i don't see why it should be a certain size when its on my page?

+ an admin had one bigger than 150x150 surly they would have been aware of the rule, unless someone added it on the sly...lol

So that's what we're following Graham, although yes, I don't remember where these came from though, as I don't recall them being there when I looked into profile size limits a few months back.

They've been there for full on ages, cus the last time the FAQs were updated was when I updated the reputation tings and they were there then. I just don't think the mods have realised, now they have they will be enforced.

These limits have been in place for ages, it appears they went under the radar... which is unfortunate, as we now have a massive 'backlog' of oversized profile pictures as it were. We will be cracking down on them, to make sure they fit those rules. This decision was made after discussion with General Management.

I think only Administrators can do that. No idea why, think because it involves HTML.

VIP+ I think.

It was VIP+ feature as vbulletin allows custom moditifation to their profile pages, which when it was out was a VIP+ feature but since VIP+ is gone now ;P
