Are friends more important than family?

my immediate family will always be more important than friends.

i couldn't care less for friends (unless i can use them as stepping stones if you know what i mean :rolleyes:) and they know it, i can never find any to stick with & they just come and go. i enjoy their company but i can easily go without any.. especially girls. can't find any that aren't boring/******/self centered.
i would pick a night in with my family over going out and getting wasted. i have 2 cousins my age who i get on better than my friends with anyway so i don't think i need anything else. although it's nice to get away from family sometimes i'd still choose them anyday. i go through different phases when i'd rather be with my friends but it doesn't last long

my family, because whether I like it or not, I have known them longer and deep down, I love them more, no matter how much we argue, or don't see each other

I love my family but they're not as easy to talk to as friends. I'd say I really need both...but not really multiple friends...just one or two close friends who I can talk to who will stay out of the drama :) my cousins aren't really close to my age, the closest is 2 years older than me, and the others are all really young or really old :S

Id pick my mum and my brother over my friends, But on the otherhand id pick my friends over my dad anyday.

almost equally atm, but i think as time wears on, my friends will become much more important to me than my family as i grow further apart from them. my family isn't really close nit.
