View Full Version : HC SOFAS.
Why do they still get used as currency when you could just use credits now.
It don't make any sense ;o
It's not exactly a nice sofa is it all people use them for is trading.
I think everyone should slowly start only using creds and thrones for currency really.

To be honest, I don't know - I guess it just became a passion as it is the first gift for HC, then people just used them and it has carried on, rather than it being "removed" because too many people have lots of HCs now.

HC Sofa's are still used when purchasing more expensive items such as thrones rather than credits. ;)

Tbh... I use credits instead of HCs/Ts ... simpler imo...
1HC = 10creds ish...
1T = 1000creds ish...
Simple :]

I think the fact that they're 10 cred now makes it a lot simpler for converting other rares prices into creds. I hope it doesn't go down to 8 cred in a way because then I'd have to keep getting out my calculator!
However I get what you mean, they're hardly the most attractive piece of furni. Maybe people keep using them and keeping them at 10 cred because it's what they know, tradition, there's so many in the hotel they're their own currency in a way. Yes they're not as useful as credits, but rares are still being traded outside of the marketplace and they come in much handier than any other 1hc rare (if you're stuck for creds) because of the volume of them, plus everybody knows their value immediatly without having to check habbox. Also I guess because it's usually the first rare item people own, it's the best way of getting somewhere in habbo by trading them on.
