Recently my brother purchased a old little ford banger for £700 and came with the number plate - N11SEP
Your probably thinking so? But it links with the 9/11 attacks 9 for the month it took place and 11 for the date it took place same with SEP.
He went to the DVLA but they offered £500 for it - Do you think he can get more for it?

The DVLA would want as little as possible for it. If you try ebay, you'd get people fighting for it (hopefully) :)
That said, would anyone want the date of the terror attacks in America?

Where's the 9? Bit of an unlucky coincidence although I probably wouldn't have read it like that really without you pointing it out. As it's not really personal I would have thought £500 would be quite a lot, but you'll get the highest price for it on eBay like Gomme said.

I think he means the N stands for nine
Id take 500 for it imo you wouldnt get much for that on ebay.

I don't know really, maybe cus it was a big event that took place?

Yeah, i think selling it on eBay would a good idea I'm sure a few people would bid for what the DVLA had offered and possibly a bit more.

If you could find someone who it meant something different to, then you could probably sell it for quite a lot.
It's just what that different thing could be.

You could probably get £800+ for it. Then you've just paid off the car! Nice!

The kind of people whod want that would be those who lost someone in the attack.

thats horrible why on earth would someone who lost someone close to them on 9/11 want a 9/11 related license plate?? thats like saying if my mother was stabbed to death, i would want to buy a bunch of knives in her honor. i really really dont understand the logic behind someone buying it?
sorry but i honestly dont see who would possibly want to buy that license plate

Buying some knifes if someone got stabbed is a little different.

Agreed. Your best bet when selling it is not to point out the relevance to that date (as I said it wasn't apparent to me until it was pointed out). It's not exactly a clearly printed date and technically is isn't even personalised - as it contains the regular pattern of characters. I would advertise it as a spare that was left over after a you bought a separate personalised plate

To be honest I would sell it anyway, I'm sure someone would have it, you get people who collect things like numberplates and automotive memorobilia. Maybe a museum would have it.

You've changed your sexuality several times and denied it, you've made atleast 2 acounts, you've claimed to have dated several men and women then denied it, you've changed your gender several times.
