Thing is i get stuck in because no buses run when it snows meaning i cant go out, and if i manage to get out, i cant get back unless i walk.

Yes but 1. We dont this amount of snow often, so anything that does fall gets annoying. And any that falls in london = disaster for the whole country. Bloody southerners.

And 2. We're British, We moan about everything.

Winter seems to be lasting a long time :( All it seems to do at the moment is rain or snow.

Yep, went from loving snow last year, to hating it with passion now.

Now that I'm driving I can understand just how much a pain it is for motorists. :( Have to scrape the snow off, drive much slower than usual, and it's just a pain tbh.

It's nice to look at, but not always nice to travel on.

You need to invest in SNOW TIRES!

I need to book tickets to go down south!

Last time I was in Canada there was hardly any snow. What do tire chains look like?

I've heard about Americans doing that, never seen it before though... do you remove the tyre, fit the chain, then replace the tyre? Surely it makes the ride kind of bumpy over areas where there isn't much snow?

nah you can fit them without removing the tyre. can use them only if theres deep snow. if you drive on concrete then they would just mash up you tyres. there for going on roads that dont get ploughed.

Yeh i was wondering what would happen to your tyres if you went over concrete.
