What is Freshening Treatment?

So, questions in the thread. It's something to do with hair dressing because I went into Toni&Guy's today to get a price list and it's £20, has anyone had it done and does it help? And is it the same as conditioning treatment, which is £10?

And as this is the first time I've EVER been to the hairdressers in my 15 years of existence, is £90 an okay price to pay for a cut and blow dry and a permanent full head colour by a Top Stylist and Technician? I only want to go to Toni&Guy's because it seems good, and I wanna make sure I'm happy with what I get.

Have you never had your hair cut before then? Or done by someone you know.

A hairdresser is a hair dresser imo. Your paying alot more for the name toni&guy than you would do in a normal hairdresser who can do it for a cheaper price. But its up to you.

Nope, it's been growing my whole life and it's down to my back when it's straight, but it's got a lot of dead and split ends, so it's taking ages to grow.

My mum says it's too expensive as well at Toni&Guy, but I went to another hairdressers, called Francesco, and their prices are pretty much the same for what I want done, with the amount of professionalism from the stylist. But she goes there occasionally and her hair looks really good when she comes back, and they treat you really well, I got offered a glass of juice while I was waiting, :8

And choosing a salon isn't the end of my problems, next I have to choose a style!! I still don't understand how curly hair can be 'styled' tbh :L

wow thats quite amazing that you've never had it cut lol!

um id say just go to a good hairdresser with an idea of what you want, and possibly a picture, if theyre good hairdressers they should do a good job with your hair! :)

Most of the styles I like are done with straight hair, but maybe I could ask them to transform it :P

most hair mags have curly styles aswell, and hairdressers are prob used to working with all shorts of hair so they'ed know what they were doing anyway
