Another facebook update sees ANOTHER facebook layout. I'm not a fan i must say.

Mine is the same, and I really don't want it too change. My brother had a different layout for weeks, not a fan.

Same, my mum logged me out of mine then logged straight into hers and she had the old one.

Facebook has the nack of updating some users and leaving others behind.

this happened last time. Theyll begin to upgrade everyone as time goes on. I suspect everyone will be on the new layout by the end of next week.

At least facebook makes changes to their layout, i mean, how many sites can you say update every year. No one likes change, so the sooner you begin to like it, the sooner you can move on with your lives..

and im on the old one at the minute, but the new one looks far better

And i have hated it for all the 4 hours it been on! I dont understand why the facebook chat button is so randomly placed.

i had a facebook for years, and they tend to change the layout once or twice a year.
1) no, they wont change it back.
2) no, its not more confusing, they just put buttons in different places (from what i see in pictures its virtually exactly the same). give it a few weeks and you wont even remember what the previous layout looked like.
3) if you dont have it yet wait at least a few days, it takes facebook a while to update all the profiles
4) for the love of god don't join the "we want the old facebook back" groups. they spring up every time facebook makes the slightest change to their site and it never does anything.

anyway im looking at these pictures and it looks almost comically similar, why are some people getting their panties in a bunch? :S

there's select people that do all the group joining, i have a friend that literally is in over 1000 fan pages. i just block them, most people dont join that many groups.

They've added these lines down the left and right, and left the random chat box on its own in the bottom right. Looks very crappy tbh.

Meh, not that different. So will be able to live with it :) I prefered Facebook when it made apps easier to access, I got bored too quick of apps when they changed the layout :P

Doesn't look to bad. I don't really care what it looks like, as long as it works, which mine doesn't. I'm still on the old one and the feeds aren't working properly.

Why don't they give options for the different layouts? Surely that would be easier than making everybody change every 6 months (not that I mind, although I did hate the layout which had the "Highlights" bit at the side)
