its Haiti not hati, same mistake was made in some of my schools fundraising posters. Personally I don't see why they need millions of pounds STILL.

The song to me sounds crap, it's no where near as good as the original

surely the more money raised the better. and considering the crisis won't be over for a good few years, i'm sure haiti need more than millions, probably billions to get some sort of normalisation back...
the songs not too bad - quite short though. but that's irrelevant since proceeds are going to a good cause.
I prefer this than the other one

are you serious? haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere, port au-prince was basically completely leveled. its not like we were going to stay there for a week and think everything is fine, its going to take YEARS, maybe DECADES for them just to return to the state they used to be in, which was itself a horrible one. i think youre severely underestimating how devastating the earthquake was.
oh and this song was already posted, and we all came to the conclusion its a pretty terrible cover. r.e.m.'s version is definitely better, but its for a good cause so it doesnt really matter much.

Terrible comment, dbgtz. As RS said, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti and devastated the capital city Port-au-Prince and it was already the poorest country in the western hemisphere. I was going to say the exact same thing but it's a different song
