It's really a question of money. If my mum has the money then she'll usually get something for me if I ask for it but I usually don't ask. Same for my dad really.

I used to when i was little, im the only child so i kinda got what i wanted. When i turned like 11 it started to change and now i get my money each month and i have to pay for what i want, if i do something good at college then maybe ill get some nice.

I'll third that, one of my friends just get a crap load of money from my parents and it's totally distorted his judgement of the value of money, he's is really stuck up sometimes. When he's a skint student (providing his parents don't send him huge sums of money) he's in for a shock :D

Sometimes they do, not very often though.

Definitely not, i'm a bit too old now I guess but even when I was younger no because they just didn't have the money. If I asked for something and I needed it then they would if it was possible.

nah i'd just say my mum was a massive pushover
i don't like asking anyone for anything unless i need it so only ever got for birthday/christmas or if i'd done well. even when they were together and had a lot of money they only ever spent it on things we needed not wanted. some people think i'm spoilt by my dad but that's only because he's driven by money and trys to win us over with it |-)

No they don't. If I want something like a new phone it either comes as a christmas or birthday present. I know people who whenever they want a phone their parents just buy it for them.

No. They don't really have the money to either (well, didn't used to have and now they have some money I'm just used to not asking for much).

If I really need something like education wise or whatever they willl get it, but now that I'm on EMA they don't really do that either, I feel much better buying something for myself, especially if I've saved up for it.

I used to know a guy who was spoilt so much, and he was a right ****. He always had to be better than everyone else and he'd come in school going "I GOT BLA BLA LAST NIGHT"

Err, she usually gives me money if I wanna buy something, and I get £20 a month, on top of extra money she gives me when I go shopping with friends.
But she doesn't buy me stuff really expensive straight away, she saves for it.
I only feel spoiled when she gives me more money than I ask for.
I dunno about my Dad, I hardly ever see him, but if I bump into him on the street he gives me £5-£10.
My sister spoils me much more than my mum though, whenever we go shopping for something she wants to buy I always come back with a book or a film or a game, which is what my mum would never do.

Well my mom usually gets me stuff if i ask, but my dad will buy me basically anything and get me random stuff all the time.

For example i told my dad i was gonna save up for an xbox 360 and then the next day he came home and brought one home :P

Well for mum, yeah I suppose especially during her good moods. She usually buys me credits for my mobile and sometimes most of the stuffs I ask.I don't ask her that much though

Dad just gets me basically anything that I want.Eventhough it means I'll have to wait it for months/years he'll eventually get it for me & i just ask it cause he left mum all alone to raise us up.So,I don't mind asking from him lol

Well,I guess I'm quite spoiled as I'm the apple to their eyes :P

Some people think I am/was spoiled. But my family just consider it normal.

I can honestly say I get whatever I want. I am the youngest of three boys and when my parents split I was 10 and I became very attached to my mum. It's to the point now that I feel bad asking my mom for stuff, but if I ask I receive. My dad is a stingy **** and I never really got along with him after they split. I think my mom likes being the favorite parent, but I would still love her if she was poor and had nothing.

my mum spoils me, but i see her once every 18-24 months. Dad doesn't if i need stuff i buy it myself, thats why i have a job..

When i see the amount people get for christmas and compare it to me. he spends way less than most parents. However if in the year i want something he will get it for me within reason and I also get ten pounds a week for helping around the place.
So I dont think i am :)
