I just went on Habbo to have a look and being an oldie, this Marketplace thing has blown my mind lol. Just got a few questions to ask peeps who are frequent players;

Do Marketplace trends affect Habbox's Rare Values?
If not, then which do you find to be better to follow?
Have you found it better to just stick to the traditional form of trading?
Have you known of any instances where really ambitious offers have been accepted, (for example there is a Glass Chair for sale at 10100 credits even though the average is 3)?
Likewise, have you known of anything to be found really cheaply, (such as Throne for 100 credits)?

Oh and also, what the hell happened to the Green Bird Bath?!

Thanks xx

I think so, however normal trades influence it too.

If not, then which do you find to be better to follow?

I think it probably would be Trade (I may be wrong) because it is certain the trade has gone through if you're not in something like Trade City, however Marketplace probably gives a big impact too.

Have you found it better to just stick to the traditional form of trading?

I use a mixture of both really, at least on the Marketplace you don't have to go round shops for ages etc.

Have you known of any instances where really ambitious offers have been accepted, (for example there is a Glass Chair for sale at 10100 credits even though the average is 3)?

I highly doubt it :P, that is wayyyyyyyy over the top.

Likewise, have you known of anything to be found really cheaply, (such as Throne for 100 credits)?

I have seen many Club Sofas go for just a couple of credits if they count, which tends to happen often because sometimes people mistype (e.g. want to put in 10 but forgets the 0).

Oh and also, what the hell happened to the Green Bird Bath?!
The GBB got released in a package on one of these days where a lot of things were released for a small price, so its price is only starting to climb up again (if that is what you mean).
Thanks xx

That's how I'd honestly answer the questions, but it is better to get clarification from RV Management about the first couple of questions. If they're wrong I am sorry but I think that's what I have seen :P.

That one is way over the top :P but I was expecting you to maybe say you get a few mistakes and stuff, then again you can just remove it from the market can't you. Anyway thanks for the response, much appreciated :)

Yeah, people are quite quick to remove, but some quicker to buy! I haven't seen anything too abserd myself, but I'm sure others have :).

Just a random question; can HC members no longer save outfits?

Alex3213

They can :)

You click your person, then go to change looks and press the cupboard button on client, however I think it remains the same off client.

Oh yeah, nice one! Lmao you can once again change your outfit from the client like the old days :D

Usually sellers sell their items at around the habbox values, sometimes they may go higer/lower

Have you found it better to just stick to the traditional form of trading?

Marketplace is really for when you cannot find what you need VIA trading or if you just want an item fast.

Have you known of any instances where really ambitious offers have been accepted, (for example there is a Glass Chair for sale at 10100 credits even though the average is 3)?

I am unsure if the ambitious offers are accepted, as if you dont sell it within 2 days the offer is taken down.

Likewise, have you known of anything to be found really cheaply, (such as Throne for 100 credits)?

Sometimes, if you look enough, you might be lucky.

Oh and also, what the hell happened to the Green Bird Bath?!

It was released in a furni bundle, for literally seconds mid december for 50 credits.

Thanks xx

So, yeh hope that helps

- Do Marketplace trends affect Habbox's Rare Values?
They can do, yes.
- If not, then which do you find to be better to follow?
To maintain a high level of accuracy with Habbox values, both trades made in the marketplace and trades made using Habbo's Safe Trade will be used.
- Have you found it better to just stick to the traditional form of trading?
The traditional form is still used a lot and the marketplace is really just an alternative. However, the marketplace is very helpful - I've sold items there which no one wanted to buy normally.
- Have you known of any instances where really ambitious offers have been accepted, (for example there is a Glass Chair for sale at 10100 credits even though the average is 3)?
I've never seen any of these items at 10100 credits accepted and doubt they will be.
- Likewise, have you known of anything to be found really cheaply, (such as Throne for 100 credits)?
I know that a venomous habbulus was purchased by a freind for 3 credits! However, these are just one-off trades and are not used to updated the Habbox values.
- What happened to the green bird bath?
The Bird Bath (Green) was released in the Limited edition section of the catalogue, for an estimated time of under 1 minute. On this day, many other items were also released in limited edition for a short amount of time, including the yellow valentines rose, newsdesk, cork board and coolbox.

Hope this helps :)

You all seem to think the GBB was released for one minute, it was released for 15 seconds with the Easter Eggs and Wannabe Bunny (Easter Duck) at the price of 30c. :) I should know I bought 2. :P

15 seconds?! Are you able to see things come and go from the catalogue now without reloading the client?

Mr-Trainor

Yep. If you already have the catalogue open then it will close and say 'something new has been added to the catalogue' and you can re-open it :P

Ah well that's a nice improvement. Good memories though of everyone going mental about not being able to see new furni because they hadn't reloaded :P

Do Marketplace trends affect Habbox's Rare Values? They affect them sometimes. However, trading still takes place a lot and that also affects them
If not, then which do you find to be better to follow? I find the trading better to follow, it is more accurate because it has a more fair price, as some people just put things in the marketplace at a ridiculous price, but some also sell.
Have you found it better to just stick to the traditional form of trading? I have found both ways, I have found that the marketplace is good as long as it doesn't disconnect you. I find that if I need a quick sale, I can place furniture in the marketplace that I hope will sell quickly.
Have you known of any instances where really ambitious offers have been accepted, (for example there is a Glass Chair for sale at 10100 credits even though the average is 3)? I haven't heard of actual sales of these, however the bling_shower is an example, as it was receiving 5 hc trading and 13hc (approx) in the marketplace.
Likewise, have you known of anything to be found really cheaply, (such as Throne for 100 credits)? I found a few items really cheap, but not really that often.
Oh and also, what the hell happened to the Green Bird Bath?!

It was released in a deal before christmas, it was a part of the advent presents.
