Hey, im needing some help with this CSS code:

I need the navigation to be 1000px wide and the content to be stretched out also to fit nicely with the navigation, I have tried this many times but it has always failed and only stretched out the text and not the surrounding areas.

CSS is here - www.hostraft.com/style.css

Website: www.hostraft.com

You can see on the website what boxes there are etc to help you with editing the CSS file :)

I am also needing some graphics done for the website such as banners, icons and a new logo, payment will be provided. These will need to be well done.

Just remembered, I also need a javascript image rotator type thing done for where the current banner image is, I am also willing to pay for this if it is done to meet a good standard.

If your up for the task of graphical work or the jscript can you please PM me with some examples of work if possible :)

Thanks

At the moment, your boxes are made up of fixed width images for the top and bottom, which probably explains why the text expands outwards, but not the boxes.

The problem is that these boxes can only expand downwards, so you wont be able to go across any further without the text breaking out.

If you want to keep that system, you could just extend the length of the images. But you'd be better off getting someone to set up something CSS based, you could even keep the rounded corners with some CSS3.

And if you're going to get a banner rotation set up, I'd recommend http://www.progressivered.com/cu3er/ for something with a bit of flair :O

Hope that helps a little bit. :)
