I was thinking that it'd be cool if you guys released some statistics each month/quarter of a year to show how many posts are made/views etc.

I was thinking it'd be pretty cool to see what kinda usage is actually being used (does that make sense?)

Hmm, i dunno if that was worded correctly but i'm knackered and off to bed.

Yes. or it could be just a generalisation (though that'd suck). Like Total threads created: 1945
Total Posts: 76951
or whatever.

Oooh, it'd be awesome to see the country statistics too (no doubt england/ireland/scotland will be up top) :O

I'd have no problems with doing this, I'll talk to Garion/Sammeth.

But doing it monthly would be good or on a regular basis. Not one month and then the next in 4 months and then the month after that.

I'd love to see how habbox is growing/declining ;)

Would have no purpose just be interesting :P
Ka-ching.

Here's a quick interesting fact. The day that's just passed, Sunday 7th February 2010 saw more threads posted than any other day since Saturday 17th October 2009

If you don't want detailed stats here are a few:

In January 2010, a total of 62393 posts were made
In January 2010 a total of 5069 threads were made.

Interesting tbh, insane figures.

Oh wow! That's great then! :D

I must say it did seem rather busy on Saturday!

I suppose it would be quite interesting to learn a few of these facts more often. xD

To be fair if you're interested in any of these statistics, all you have to do is drop us a PM :).

Why don't you release them to the public a bit? It'd also help you guys boast a bit more ;)

Hardly gonna post an announcement once a week, telling everyone how well / terrible we're doing. If people want to know, we can pull something together, if not I am sure they'll just carry on posting and carry on with it :P.

Standard installation of vBulletin and 30 seconds looking at the statistics will get the information you need?

Yeah I like the sound of this. First of all, very well done for making January 2010 the most post-month or whatever since about half a year ago, so lets hope it continues. However, maybe rather than just statistics for the whole forum, it could be split into categories, e.g. Habbo, General etc. Obviously General would probably have more posts due to Spam, but it sort of evens it out if you get me, showing that its not all just posts in Spam! Again, if they were posted it would need to be consistent, e.g. every month/two months or whatever. But overall, it sounds like a great idea to release them!

How many closed due to women and David complaining?

On a more serious note, might be good to show (if it's possible to find, idk how this stuff goes) the number of individual members posting per month. Could be useful to properly see whether the trend seems to be less/more people posting or the average person posting more/less

Speaking of monthly statistics, is MOTM still happening?

Yes, it was chosen a few days ago.

@FJ - Yeah, I like that idea of amount of individual users.

Habboxforum has approx been open 247weeks which would mean around:
23,970 posts a week + 2,430 threads a week on an average.

The statistics we have access to in ACP are:

Newest Member
Top Poster
Most replied to thread
Most viewed thread
Most popular forum
Registrations per day
User activity (amount of people online each day)
New thread statistics (amount of new threads posted each day)
New post statistics (amount of new posts each day)
