is there any time this plans to be sorted?
Rare values is one of the most used things on habbox and letting the values run 8 days out of date isn't the best way to promote the website :S
Especially as marketplace is now there people will start depending on it for values and evidently its doing a better job than habbox atm

Yeh i know but they shouldn't have installed it all over the old one until they were sure it worked

I agree, Im getting messages on habbo asking whats worth what, people dont know anymore :S

Well I assume that large changes in values are being written down to change buy the majority of rares would have gone from 1hc to 42hc for example so for the majority of rares there isnt much to worry about. I know there has been an issue with the new panel of which I dont know what it is but I think it is something that can only be sorted by Jin and hopefully he will be back shortly.

Doesn't matter if its gone from 1hc to 42hc or not, the fact is the majority of the values are completely inaccurate, especially most if not all of the normal rares which is what habbox will be most used for so people are reading inaccurate values and buying for more than its worth due to a mistake on habbox's behalf
Why didn't they leave the old panel etc there until the new one was working instead of thinking it would be a good idea to stick it on and wait a week+ on it working.

It is not really possible to give a 100% correct value. Our rare values are a guide.
Taken from the site, it is important that they are only a guide no matter what. I'm sure that this glitch will soon be forgotten and that the new system will help people in the future.

Obviously but its usually accurate and the price at which things are traded, not HC's off it.
It's fully working, believe me. Jin is currently away so we are planning to update it tomorrow, as then when all of you rush in to see its greatness, Jin can optimize the scripts at server level (which I can't do, otherwise it would have been done already) due to the fact the new features might take up a bit more of the systems resources than the last one.

shouldn't he of waited until he was back to do it, knowing everytime anyone does something to update on habbox something screws up so giving him the time other than leaving it screwed for 8-9 days while hes away... (also he was online on friday sitting in the lottery room doing nothing surely the feature than most of habbox users come on habbox.com would kinda be priority to fix no? :S)
Nothings broken with Habbox, it was just a little problem with the rares displaying (javascript and stuff) but then another feature popped up which caused it to be delayed, the old panel was disabled as we thought it would be done in one night, but it wasn't, but it will be fixed asap.

Aye agreed with scott. Just make a static web page with values typed in manually if its that much of an issue, having values that out of date is mental. Joe its very well toeing the corporate line but in real life people do depend on us for values (or at least did until habbo intruduced their own price thing) and we have a responsibility to make them accurate.

It will be updated tomorrow, I don't see why we should make the fuss about a static page just for the sake of another day.

Take down the rares until its sorted? ppl are buyin furni for the wrong prices and causing them to lose out. Just put it on maintenance saying it will be bk shortly?

well thats just stupid them, i was in hxhd earlier and bout 10 plp came in one after another and asked why habbox vaues where broke and after bout 4th person i cbf to with explaining tht the manangement have buggered em up so i just sed habbox stopped doing em. so plp r noticing and getting annoyed by it and it should be fixed now, rather than the "we'll do it later" approach habbox has.

why not just take them down
most of them are completely inaccurate being 3HC+ off the proper value.
People will depend on the marketplace which is giving a more accurate reading than habbox so won't get absolutely ripped.

when it went from 3.5 to 3.7? lol
or was that manually entered? also i thought the public thing was meant to be all new and fancy completely nothing has changed? or did they re-enable old panel?

Maybe the features have to be manually activiated, and I thought the recent changes thing was supposed to be automatic now.

Well that is what i thought but Jin said they were all changed plus i removed the whole php segment and was still giving me errors very strange. I got it to work in the auto sizing iframe however the popup when a rare is clicked doesnt work in iframe, if you could figure a way around that then i guess we could do it that way.

Nope, we have it working. PHP Includes weren't working so instead of using the main kernel for MySQL and converting rares value I just added the class to the php file and just used normal mysql to do it and it works with Joomla.
P.S - Just cos your jealous I'm 14 and I'm better at coding.

Ye includes are never good with joomla as once you use jumi it gets lost to where it is in the structure of directories.
Though you pop up doesnt seem to work anymore?

We got it working on test.php without any includes, will update the other pages later today then it should be ready to integrate.
