Lately i've been very busy, and sometimes don't get time to brush my teeth either in the morning or at night.

Would it cause my teeth any harm if i brushed them at say 3 in the afternoon and at 11 at night with times varying throughout the week?

Any help would be great :D

Doubt it aslong as you get the plauqe off each day cant see how its going to have any major effect

don't see why it would make much difference what time it is aslong as its still being done at some point

It is more to do with it being a regular occurence rather than on a schedule, but if you're out in the day like with school/college or whatever then it's best to try getting them done in the morning because after dribbling inside your mouth all night you won't smell too fresh

After meals is ament to be the best time to brush your teeth. I think most people just brush them mornin and night?

I normally do but as I said i'm busy atm and don't have the time.

And after a meal is not really the best time, especially if you have a dessert, you are suppose to wait at least a hour after suggary foods because it will brush away the enamal of your teeth

I wouldn't wait until 3PM to brush your teeth, there's more time for the plaque or whatever to damage your teeth.

Also, I heard you should wait an hour after eating anything with sugar in it before brushing your teeth as it softens your enamel or something, that was from ten years younger!

It doesn't make a difference as long as you do it regularly. When I'm at home I prefer not to do it on a schedule because if I just do it whenever, I find myself doing it more often - like whenever I've eaten or even whenever I go to the bathroom.

@Vanity: I didn't know that, and it's kind of worried me because I usually make a point to brush my teeth immediately after eating sugary stuff. Mainly because I hate the feeling it leaves in my mouth :(
