Hey guys, :)

recently i've become quite interested in starting my own internet radio.. not because i want it to be popular or anything, just a little thing for fun and practice.

There are a couple of things wrong though,

the first being.. well I have no idea how.

I have knowledge on how to use products like SAM broadcaster, Winamp, Shoutcast etc, but I dont know the thorough steps of

1- getting my domain
2- the radio servers etc
3- copyright rules, legal issues etc
4- how much it would cost me per month.

Basically in the end I have no clue how to start this.

If there is ANYONE who has extensive knowledge on this subject and can help me out we could chat and maybe sort something out?

Depending on the amount of knowledge you have and helping me to set this up and go through the legal issues, we may be able to sort some sort of payment via paypal.

Thanks, :)

PS. Im in canada.

Firstly, online radios aren't something you can start, then give up a week later. Although this used to be the case. Now days you have to put allot of time, effort and money into an online radio. Not to mention the massive fee for a radio licence itself.

What I'd advise you to do
You need to really get some knowledge on all of this, I'm sure people will reply explaining how to make a website, buy hosting and a create a domain. You need to really think about what your getting yourself into before you go ahead and start to make an online radio. To create an online radio today, its big bucks, so if you haven't got the money i'd simply advise you to stop now.
