Sorry Im not too sure if this is in the right section buuuuut
My iPod just won't turn on, I've tried everything Apple suggest from charging it, switching the hold button on and off and even holding down the select and menu button at the same time to reset it, and absolutely nothing happens, the screen just stays blank.
Basically I'm just wondering if there is any other way of trying to get it to work of if it has completely packed up?
It was working fine before, which is the weird thing and I dont particularly want to fork out for a new one if I can help it lol
So any help would be greatly appreciated! :D

Cant you contact apple and say its a technical fault? They should then replace it shouldnt they?
2 things,
1. leave it in a hot room for a week or 2. Could be water damage from rain or something. This can dry it out
2. Your batteries died. Theres only like 400 full cycle charges for every ipod. How long have you had it?

400? It should be more than that.
What type of iPod? If it's out of warranty (1 yr Apple) then you're better off getting a new one.
I'm not too sure what the total is, but I'm sur I read it was about that :S

I didn't even know there was a specific amount of cycles! I'm guessing they don't replace them after these cycles (assuming it's well out of warranty)? Something like that should be stated with the product, I would have thought.
Yep there is! And I think it is. But it doesn't specify how many. It's just like a normal rechargable battery. They all for sometime in the future

Thanks everyone for your advice :)
I honestly just think it has given up, nothing is working for it. It's stupid really at how long they last, I bought it about a year and a half ago and its already broken. For the amount they cost you expect them to last a hell of a lot longer.

When you connect it to your computer is it recognized in itunes? Have you dropped it in any water?
