I have the Blackberry Curve 8520 which I got on saturday then today when I get a text message I don't no message tone even though my sound is on. Also the text message are a pain to find I have to go to message > menu > view folders > SMS Inbox just to view them.

I have gone to menu > message > options > General > SMS & Email Inboxs and made sure they're seperated. It's just really annoying me can anyone help please?

I dunno if you can do it on your, but on my 9700 you can move the sms folder to the 'home' and rearrange to appear on the wallpaper.

It was originally like that when I got it, now it's all changed? :s

You might have hid it?
Go to main menu > Menu button > "Show all"
tell me what happens?

Every blackberry has a show all? :|
Go to the main menu - then click the blackberry (menu, left) button - show all should be on there? :/

But if there's nothing hidden then it wont say show all will it?

All of my SMS messages show up in an "everything" mailbox on my home screen. I have separate mailboxes for my different emails, but everything should show up in that everything mailbox.

The blackberry comes with things hidden already... but if its not there whatever.
You should have a separate item for SMS... I dont know what you've done?

I have tried seperating it and combining and stuff. It was fine earlier today, don't understand. Do you think if I reset it, it'll work and be okay?

If you reset the handest then it'll go back to details yeah... But you'll lose everything else on the phone :/

Maybe just try and battery pull first? Probably won't do anything but its worth a try.

Yeah just do a hard reset, save everything to your sim first?!
