Hey,

Exercise
Recently I started being healthy, I'm eating healthy, drinking piles of water and I am going to the gym almost everyday. On a daily basis when I go to the gym I run/walk on the treadmill 12.0km which is 7miles. I have recently changed my workout to every two days as I just get too tired. I rarely ever exercised in the past so it is a bit of a challenge but I can feel improvement. I am curious at what's the normal amount of exercise an average person should be doing on a daily or weekly basis? At the moment just within the gym I walk/run about 21miles a week. Imo on a machine and actually running is different so although it looks like I'm doing piles I'm not really.

Food
I tried to go on a strict diet were I would only eat fruit, I lasted about two days, I couldn't do it anymore I just hadn't got the energy. I think the main fail point was at dinner, eating fruit for dinner just wasn't filling. I need some advice on healthy meals that I could have for dinner. For breakfast I tend to stick to weet cereals with fruit and for lunch I just eat fruit but sometimes I haven't got the energy to do anything that I actually need to eat something like a sandwhich. I wish I could stay away from everything but fruit and veg but that's not going to happen.

Any helpful advice il +Rep,
Thanks,
Richie.

Fruit Just fruit?!! Do you have any idea how bad that is for you not to mention the amount of fiber you're getting i wouldn't like to be your toilet :P!

Fruit has more sugar then chocolate btw So yeah you need a blanched diet but if you want to get fit protein so eggs, meat etc like i am on protein diet and carb starving atm because before a big hockey match it works cbb to go into it coz many wouldn't understand.

Anyway you want balanced so like Egg for breakfast soup and sandwich for lunch and chicken dinner, pasta or whatever for dinner with no snacks drink water but not too much fruit juices.

Life's too short to be healthy.

But in the interest of being informative: for breakfast eat brown bread toasted no spread / bran flakes with fruit and for dinner eat pasta and chicken, same again for tea/dinner w.e.

You can't live off fruit.

Get plenty of protein from nuts eggs chicken/

Eat more fish. Tuna for example.

Just get your 5 a day or fruit AND veg.

Drink only water.

Excercise should be 3/4/5 times a week depending on what your doing. Need time to recover, but i suggest wieghtt raining as well as running.
