Habbo Sofas, the values are getting terrible lately. What's happening?
In my opinion 8c per atm there selling for and some people are even trying to chance 5c per. Habbox need a set value for hcs i believe. Anyone else ageee.

Habbox can't have a set price for rares. They go on what they see around the hotel, average it out and thats the value it is

Habbox are respectively, changing to the credit system soon, due to the low demand for hc's, plus a future update means the HC's value is likely to increase further, given you can choose your HC gift.

HC's will never increase as only mroe will go into the economy, unless 30,000 people suddenly join habbo UK, not likerly to happen. :P

HC will not increase, the marketplace was made and now the demand for HC's has dropped. You are lucky to sell them for the 10c that Habbox has priced them at, Habbox are fair and reasonable with the prices they put into place, they go by what they see. If they can't see proof of trades of 5-8c then they can't be lowered to 8c.

A new credit system will soon put the rares, supers and norms to their full potential price in the game.


Eventually, a rumour has come up that you will soon be able to choose your habbo club gift.
This will be that when you purchase habbo club, you will then be chose to select which gift you want as a club gift. This will also decrease the demands for HC's as people will start wanting 'butlers', 'majestics' etc.

In my opinion choosing your habbo gift shouldn't come into the hotel, this would mess prices of the rares habbo club already give you as more and more will enter the hotel. Some people may even pay 20 creds on clone account's just to get their hands on rare's that are worth more which will eventually drop and be almost worthless.

I may have just dribbled on but hopefully you will read this as it took a while to write. This is just facts backed by my own opinion.

We are looking to change it asap, at the moment Jin who can change it is away so we're pretty stuck. We'll think it over and see if its clever to just change everything to C while CS is still there, so it'd be like Fire Dragon Lamp: 32 CS but we'd have to put a notice at the top saying that CS = Credits, not Club Sofas.

Why would people buy butlers instead of maj's or throne sofas?

If this does happen literally all the hc rares are gonna decrease to about 10c or below imo

What will happen
- You buy the most valuable gift
- That value will go down
- You then get the highest again until each go down
- No values will probably rise due to demand not existing, since you can really get em whenever you want

I wrote a similar comment a couple of months ago (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=618331). No doubt I was being slightly arrogant but funny how everyone now agrees ;p. Better late than never.

Just to bring up the marketplace again. Lots saying that there is a clear credit value increase because of the market and is causing HCs to drop. However this occurs to some extent but isn't direct. As the HC Sofa falls, rare values stay the same for a while, however eventually people are forced to sell at habbox value either because thats all most people are willing to pay, or it takes just a couple of people to check the value of a furni, shove it on the market at that price (lower than previous prices) and it brings the rare value down.

Once rares are no longer based on HCs we will see a change, and the HC will no longer forcefully undeservingly drag other values down with it.

An idea to try and make CS apply to credits is to make up a word for the S. For instance, say CS = Credit System - thats the only word I can think off the top of my head.

The problem is that if we convert to a Credit system would credits just go totally over the top in demand and cause it to get even worse?

They used to be 14 creds and one day I went on habbo with like 10 creds and I said how much is HC sofa, expecting her to say 14 creds she said 8 :o quite surprising how sudden things can change.

Sorry I think you misread what I put up there, I was just giving suggestions as to how you would work around the CS meaning credits rather than club sofas if it could not be changed by Jin quickly and if it happened in the first place!

I think Habbo Club Sofas (http://www.sofasinstock.co.uk) costs high , cost can go up and down with the release of new items, an increase in players on the site, or changes in how many people actually want the sofas, so its value is determined by supply and demand.

now the HC its even lower, 6c!? and ppl selling them for 5c!?. This prices will keep decreasin and decreasin, is there anything that someone can do(yn), this will make ppl that olny got hcs poor this is going out of control really serius :(

I think really its been a long time coming and marketplace has just finished it off now, afterall Club sofas once reached a peak of 80 RD per and gradually fell bit by bit. As a currency they were too high valued which in many cases meant they were worth/more in demand than the actual rares they were supposed to cater for as in being the currency. (On a site note, ironic the way that Trade City with a CS pyramid sort of fell from being the popular trade room only to be replaced by a room with Gold bars [credits] as pyramids in the same couple of weeks that Credits rose against the Club sofa :P)

Life isn't fair. And ALL RARES ARE GOING DOWN IN VALUE. The only reason some APPEAR to be going up is because while Habbox values thing's in hc's, if the hc is lower that means you would need more hc's to pay for something.

Think about it like this:
Two months ago I could get 2 euros for every one on my pound coins.
But now I can only get 1 euro for every one of my pound coins, because the pound has got much stronger.
This means the euro hasn't gone down in value - the pound has simply got stronger.

If habbox switch to the credits system, and then people choose other rare values, and then habbox switch back to the Club sofas sytem, then HC sofas may increase.
