I've been watching this game closely for three years. I've been sceptical up to about two weeks ago when it came out.

The pacing is slow, but I can imagine it being just like a giant sandwich. It takes many hours to eat, but you'll be full in the end. Most games today are quick self-gratification brap tings.

Mine will hopefully be here on Thursday.

I've already had it spoiled twice for me. Once by a friend and another time by just browsing Youtube trailers of it.

Im excited for this, on the basis it seems different from anything we've got at the moment, and that the magazines/websites have been rating it highly. I've only actually really looked into this game for the past couple of weeks, so for me, it don't appear over-hyped or anything, so I don't expect to be super let down like you tend to be with over hyped games. From what I've read, it almost reminds me of The Getaway for some reason :S

I think I'll just have to stay off the forum for a few days then. And anyway, I've heard there is alternative endings to it. Apparently, if your character dies, then the story works around their death and you start playing with another character.

I have beaten it.

It is incredible.

I have cried, I have become angry at myself, let the game throw a rope around my neck for once. This is one of the best games I have ever played.

It was going to be with theme & dlc but they delayed that, so those who've redeemed (like me) only got theme and dlc.

If preordered special edition from HMV, we'll get another code via email to download the soundtrack (March 4th is when it's out)

My idea who the orgami killer is:
I think it is Ethan as their is a trophy called "Simple mind - The Old Warehouse - Save the Origami Killer before he falls, with Jayden or Madison" - and in the trailer you see ethan fall, however that could be there to trick the person (like moi) into thinking that
Also why hasn't Scott made contact with Jayden/Ethan/Madison? :S

Playing it at the moment. pretty good ^^ 6 trophs so far. tho i seen one of the trophys 22 endings not looking forward to that.

I'm intrigued to find out what differnet endings people got seeing as there are so many, gives a lot of variation.

From solving the first 3 trials, I got: Shaun survives.
Shelby gets minced.
Happy families with Ethan, Madison and Shaun.
Jayden on talk show, flushes triptocane, gets attacked by ARI tanks.
Lauren spits on Shelby's grave.

tryna get the kamikaze trophy for doing the bear trial correctly but it just doesnt register me tilting the controller to the right :S does it fine going the other way.. lost count of how many times i tried now

then change difficulty so that you don't have to tilt then :P

Norman saves Shaun
Madison runs away whilst Scott chases her round docks
She climbs up a crane and so does Scott
She has no where to go so it was like doom for her until...
Norman shoots scott and scott falls off the crane.

perfect crime should have been your first playthrough if you where playing for the tropheys. then its alot easier to do all endings. if not you have to playthrough most the game again

I hate this game , its slow .. boring and just general *Removed*. Why on gods earth.. do i want to be swinging kids around in a garden and making airplane noises , playing with toy swords and all that crap .. and later im changing babies nappies ***.. Only good part was the guy in the shower :] (nice bum)

The idea is that it tells a good story and all of those help you to understand. The kids bit = how the guy can go insane from having his kid die. The nappies bit = to draw you away from thinking shelby is the killer, therefore making you think ethan is the killer more. This isn't meant to be one of those common games and if you can't understand it then sux2bu.

I do understand the game , but i just dont like it its very boring and too slow for me. i prefer fast paced action games like devil may cry xD
Also i thought from the trailer the game would be alot better , the storyline is good. but i thought the gameplay was shocking aswell as the control's i do however liek the part where you are in the FBI and have to find the clues with the cool glasses :]

The slow start is meant for you to connect with the characters, and do very mundane things. It helps you identify with them on a human level on not just space marines shooting people in the face.

It worked for me.
