Does anyone know of software that allows me to take pics and have them show on the computer instantly, It would be very helpful for stop motion animation.

As far as I can tell that camera doesn't support that, someone else probably knows more about cameras than me here though lol

To do that, you'd need a camera that supports tethering. Even my Sony D-SLR doesn't support tethering, it's typically only high-end D-SLRs.

Im not sure if the camera you mentioned can be used as like a webcam, but if it can then you could use MonkeyJam for your stop-motion animation and have it take the photos using the "webcam" when you are ready?

The Canon EOS range of DSLRs can do this.

Lame, so there is no way at all to do this unless I have a high end DSLR
